Once again a beginning fly tying will be presented by Kevin Daniels with support from Tom Corbiere, Cathy Hamilton, Bill Burns, John Smith, John Storfold, Dave Grosjacques and others. The class will be taught at Grants Pass High School in room 137 in the core building. There will be 10 classes on Wednesday evenings 7 pm to 9pm January 9 thru March 13.

A variety of flies will be taught that will give the beginning fly tyer A good foundation for tying any style fly. SOFF supplies all materials and has loaner vises that will be available to students. Students will need to have their own scissors, thread bobbin, whip finisher, and other little tools that will be discussed in class. To sign up for the class you need to go to the Grants Pass Parks And Recreation. The cost is $25 and is a tremendous bargain considering that $25 doesn’t even cover the cost of materials.
