SOFF Dinner Meeting at Grants Pass Golf Club.

I’m sure we all love casting dry flies and emergers to rising fish every time that we are on the water, but as we know, fish spend the majority of their time feeding subsurface. This is especially true for larger fish that typically only come to surface during hatches or in search of large food items. Although, fish eat huge quantities of midges and other insects, the really large trout search for a really big meal which is usually depicted as a streamer.

Streamer fishing is complex. It’s not as simple as tying a streamer onto the end of your line as there are many variables to maximize your success. That’s why our October speaker, Yancy Lind, will be presenting a program on the techniques for targeting large trout with a streamer at the October 20^th meeting.

This is a must see program for anyone who wants to become more proficient and successful in the use of streamers in both still and moving waters.
