Sonja Nisson is a long time Southern Oregon Fly Fishers member who has been able to travel to a number of foreign destinations and successfully fish for a variety of species.  In doing so she has made a number of “bucket List” trips that many of us only dream about.  She has learned many things, good and bad,  about venturing far from home waters to pursue unfamiliar species.

Sonja will take us to a few of these destinations and talk about fitting the trip to the traveler and the traveler  to the trip.  Her premise is that good planning and doing some due diligence can make a expensive and probably a once of a lifetime trip a great and memorable adventure, avoiding an unforgettable waste of time and money.

She will also  show some beautiful locations and large fish that can result.

The Raffle will be held following the speaker’s Presentation.

If you desire to dine, reservations are required and the cost is $25.00.  Reservations need to be made by NLT Thursday, December 12th.  Click below to make your dinner reservation and pay by credit or debit card. Prepaid reservations will be appreciated.  Reservations can be made for payment at the door by going to SOFF.org.  Unredeemed unpaid reservations will be invoiced for the cost of the missed meal.  Dinner without a reservation is $30 and subject to availability.

This is an important meeting to attend as we will be voting on the Board of Directors for 2005.
