Have you become frustrated by the Covid-19 of not having any in-person fly fishing opportunities such as meetings, clinics and other such events? Not to worry, because the Ashland Fly Shop is once again hosting its annual fly fishing show and clinic ‘Rogue on the Fly 2021’. The show and clinic is scheduled for Saturday, September 18, at Indian Mary Park on the Rogue River from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Some of the presenters for the event are Jon Hazlett – Sage/Rio/ Redington Rep, Eric Neufeld – Winston/Simms/Echo Rep, Chris King –   FII Master and Two Handed Certified Instructor, Jame Millard – OPST Rep, Kait Sampsel – Humble Heron Fly Fishing Guide and Jake Zirkle – G. Loomis Rep. In addition there are more presenters waiting confirmation.

According to Ashland Fly Shop, this is an event that they look forward to hosting each year as it is their chance to give back to the wonderful community of Fly Fishers near and far. Some of the highlights of the event will be the Casting and Booth presentations throughout the day. Free Lunch sponsored by one of the vendors. End of day Raffle loaded down with great stuff from the vendors. The Rogue on the Fly Olympics. Early bird coffee and donuts provided by So. Oregon Fly Fishers and the Rogue Fly Fishers. Demo rods available to cast throughout the day.

This event is free; however expect to pay a $5.00 parking fee for the park, free if camping.

There are great tent camping and RV slips at Indian Mary Park. It is a good idea to reserve a campsite ahead of time as it is usually quite full for the event.
