Membership Benefits
As a member, you are welcomed into the SOFF family and are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings. Our guest speakers present information on fly fishing specific waters, techniques, equipment, types of flies and fishing strategies.
Another benefit is access to resources within the club such as mentorship, casting clinics, and fly-tying classes. Our monthly outings explore the local waters and are open to members. In addition, our annual Wine Dinner and Picnic are very popular.
We are also a charitable organization. The club supports organizations associated with protecting and restoring fishing habitats such as the Rogue River Watershed Council, the Habitat Oregon Stewardship and The Federation of Fly Fishers Osprey. Our members participate in Conservation Projects throughout the Rogue Valley. We provide two scholarships to OSU students pursuing careers related to wildlife and fisheries., The club donates and participates in projects such as Project Healing Waters, and Casting for Recovery.
